Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company Social Media Terms of Use

When using the official social media accounts and associated services (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) operated by Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), please review and agree to the following Social Media Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”).

1.Scope of Application

  1. These Terms apply to all users of the Service (hereinafter referred to as “Users”).

The following actions are prohibited when using the Service:

  3. Unauthorized Disclosure of Personal Information
    Disclosing or posting personal information (such as names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses) without prior authorization from the Company and the individual concerned.
  4. Political or Religious Activities
    Conducting political campaigns, election campaigns, religious dissemination, or similar activities.
  5. Violation of Laws or Public Order and Morality
    Actions that violate or may potentially violate laws or public order and morals.
  6. Inappropriate Content
    Posting harmful, obscene, violent expressions or any content that may cause discomfort to other Users.
  7. Engagement in Criminal Activity
    Engaging in or performing actions that may be construed as criminal activities.
  8. Providing Benefits to Anti-Social Forces
    Directly or indirectly providing benefits or support to anti-social forces.
  9. Impersonation
    Impersonating the Company, other Users, or third parties.
  10. Profit-Driven Activities
    Conducting for-profit activities such as business promotions, advertisements, solicitation, or links to commercial sites, including displaying advertisement banners.
  11. Unrelated Usage of the Service
    Using the Service to post inquiries, opinions, or complaints related to matters that are not covered by the Service, such as contract details, procedures, services, and the Company’s activities.
  12. System Disruption
    Performing actions that disrupt or impair the normal functioning of the Service.
  13. Violation of Platform Rules
    Performing actions that violate the terms of use of the respective social media platforms.
  14. Any other actions that the Company considers inappropriate

3.Suspension of Use and Information Deletion

If information corresponding to any of the prohibited actions listed above (hereinafter referred to as “Prohibited Actions”) is posted on the Service, the Company reserves the right to delete said information without prior notice. Additionally, the Company may suspend or block the access from the User who have conducted Prohibited Actions to the Service, or take other necessary measures without notification.

4.Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Rights of the Company
    Unless otherwise specified, the copyrights, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights associated with the information and content featured on the Service belong to the Company.
  2. Rights of the Users
    While copyrights of the content posted by Users on the Service generally belong to the Users, such postings grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content (including reproduction, editing, extraction, and publication) both domestically and internationally. Additionally, Users agree not to exercise their copyrights or any other rights against the Company.

5.Use of Personal Information

  1. Access to Information
    The Company may access publicly available information as per the User’s settings. It may also access restricted or non-public information as needed.
  2. Consent to Privacy Policy
    By using the Service, Users are deemed to have consented to the Company's Privacy Policy as stipulated on its official website.
  3. Handling of Personal Information

8.Liability for Damages

If an User violates these Terms and causes harm to the Company or third parties, said User shall be responsible for compensating for these damages.

The Company reserves the right to suspend all or part of the Service without notice due to unavoidable circumstances or other reasons. The Company shall not be liable for damages caused to Users or third parties as a result of such suspension.

10.Amendments to These Terms

11.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. In case of disputes relating to the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
